Defecating People in front of the Train Station?

Passengers rushing in and out of one of Switzerland’s busiest train stations were in for a surprise on the 19th of November.

Few of them were aware that “World Toilet Day” existed, let alone understand why such a day is important. That is, until the bright orange figures of the “Where Would You Hide?” exhibition caught their eye. Members of the Swiss Campaign for the International Year of Sanitation organised the event and were present to answer any questions.

The media was very receptive to the issue. But then again, why wouldn’t they be? It was, after all, World Toilet Day in the International Year of Sanitation. We’re grateful to all the individuals that were open enough to inform themselves, brave enough to ask lots of questions and agreed to have their photo taken in support of this important issue.
