The contrast between designer label clothing stores, investment banks and the “orange squat squad” could not have been greater. The success of the Zurich event is definitely augmented by its location in the heart of the Swiss financial world.

In partnership with the World Toilet Organization, the German Toilet Organization carried its successful awareness raising efforts across its southern border. The event was combined with an action call to found a Swiss Toilet Organization. So far, this has not taken place, but the resulting headlines managed to break the silence concerning the topic in Switzerland.
