Orange Splash

Singapore, Singapore // 19 November 2005 // Local Activist: World Toilet Organization (in collaboration with: World Toilet College, Singapore Polytechnic, National Environment Agency of Singapore)

On World Toilet Day 2005 an orange man group created toilet headlines in Singapore. Squatting along the waterfront they formed the backdrop for the several WTO volunteers walked the city with orange squatting figures strapped to their bodies – drawing attention to the unusual exhibition at the water front. Everyone was invited to partake in the founding event of the World Toilet College – an institution to build much needed capacity to tackle worldwide sanitation issues, ranging from toilet design to restroom maintenance.

Like the famous Blue Man Group…
